Update on Upcoming Community Meetings Hosted by Board of Supervisors Members

This month several Albemarle County Supervisors will host community meetings to discuss the proposed FY 2014-15 Local Government and School Division budgets and recent developments in their districts. Community members will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss areas of concern and interest. All citizens are invited and strongly encouraged to attend these meetings.

Scottsville Representative Jane Dittmar's March 17 meeting, which was postponed due to inclement weather, has been rescheduled for Monday, March 24, 2014 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm, at Victory Hall in the Scottsville Town Council Room.   

Ken Boyd, who represents the Rivanna District, is hosting a community meeting at the Grace Episcopal Church Parish Hall on Gordonsville Road in Keswick on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 9:30 - 11:30 am. 

Ken Boyd, who represents the Rivanna District, is hosting a community meeting at the Hollymead Elementary School Auditorium on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. 

Liz Palmer, who represents the Samuel Miller District, will host three community meetings:

  • Saturday, March 22, 10:00 - 11:30 am at the B.F. Yancey Elementary School Cafeteria
  • Monday, March 24, 7:00 - 9:00 pm at the Red Hill Elementary School Cafeteria
  • Tuesday, March 25, 7:00 - 9:00 pm at the Meriwether Lewis Elementary School Cafeteria

Diantha McKeel, who represents the Jack Jouett District, is hosting a community meeting on Saturday, March 22, 1:00 - 3:00 pm, at The Senior Center. Ms. McKeel will be joined by Supervisor Brad Sheffield. 

Brad Sheffield, who represents the Rio District, is hosting the following community meetings:

  • Saturday, March 22, 1:00 - 3:00 pm, at The Senior Center, joined by Supervisor Diantha McKeel
  • Tuesday, March 25, 6:00 - 9:00 pm, at the Woodbrook Elementary School Cafeteria
    (at this meeting the developer of Northfield Greene is expected to present some revised drawing concepts for his proposed development along Old Brook Rd.)
