Become a Park Ambassador

Park Ambassadors do the following:

• The Park Ambassador Program was established to influence a safe, fun outdoor experience within ACPR’s Parks, Trails, and Greenways by providing information, education, and orientation for park and trail visitors. 

• Parks Ambassadors will rove ACPR Parks, Trails, and Greenways and engage with park and trail visitors to provide orientation, educate on park/trail rules and regulations, and promote the protection of natural resources. Parks Ambassadors will report any safety/maintenance issues or concerns to ACPR and to Albemarle County's Police Department and/or Fire-Rescue staff if appropriate.
