Become a Vendor with Albemarle County

For all new vendors working with Albemarle County and any existing vendors who are making changes to their vendor record, please create and register your self-service account using our Vendor Access Portal.

Please follow these step-by-step instructions on how to register and use the portal. The portal will allow you as the vendor to sign up to receive electronic payments in lieu of printed checks, make changes to information such as address, contacts, and banking information, and upload documentation as needed. You will also have access to view any requisitions, purchase orders, invoices and payment status, and checks. Please reach out to vendorsupport@albemarle.org for any questions; see Vendor Registration Requirements below on how to provide the required forms for vendor registration.

• • Albemarle County Substitute W-9 form The Substitute W9 form is required for registration to be active and must be completed in its entirety. (Standard W9 will be accepted but must be accompanied by the required Albemarle County Substitute W9 form.

  • Provide VA SCC # by filling out the Albemarle County VA SCC Form You can find your SCC# at the State Corporation Commission Information System

• If you have provided goods/services to the County within the last 3 years, please contact Purchasing at 434-296-5854 or vendorsupport@albemarle.org before you begin the online vendor registration as you may already be in the registered.

  Surplus Property

  County members can purchase furniture - the County of Albemarle is now selling their surplus property online at GovDeals.com. Be sure to check out the online auction site and get registered.
