Electronic Bid/Proposal Submissions - It is highly encouraged to submit proposals electronically via the Bids Dashboard. Please note that in order submit a bid proposal electronically, vendors must first register an account in our Vendor Access portal, see instructions above.
Paper Bid Submissions - If you prefer to submit a paper bid/proposal, a secure drop box, labeled Vendor/Contractor Bids or Proposals Only, is available for your 24/7 use, located at the exterior of the visitor entrance at 401 McIntire Road; Charlottesville, Virginia 22902.
Bids/Proposals must be SUBMITTED by the solicitation due date and time - All bids and proposals are due to the Procurement Office, either via Electronic Bid/Proposal or by Paper Bid Submission to 401 McIntire Road, Suite 248, Charlottesville, Virginia 22902, by the exact time and date listed within the solicitation documents. For example, if a proposal is due by 2:00pm ET, proposals submitted at 2:00:01pm ET will not be accepted. All times listed are reflective of the Eastern Time Zone.
Bid Meeting Event information will be provided in the Solicitation documents posted on the Bids Dashboard.

It is the responsibility of the offeror to submit all documents in alignment with the Solicitation and any corresponding solicitation addenda as posted on the Bids Dashboard for the individual bid by the established due date and time. It is the responsibility of the offeror to ensure timely and correct delivery of their Offer.
Historical Solicitations & Awards
If you do not receive a confirmation notice after submitting, please reach out to RFQ@albemarle.org or 434-296-5854 immediately. For questions on a specific solicitation, please call 434-296-5854 and ask to speak with the buyer listed within the solicitation.
In the event that the Albemarle County government offices are closed due to inclement weather and/or emergency situations at the time set aside for a pre-bid/pre-proposal meeting and/or the published bid opening or receipt of proposals, they will default to the next open business day at the same time.
