This month, the Board of Supervisors proclaimed November 11 as Veterans Day in Albemarle County, VA. We recognize those serving and who have served for the betterment of our nation. Thank you, and your families, for your service and continued public service to Albemarle County.
As a part of this proclamation, our County Office building will be illuminated with green flood light through this weekend in conjunction with the Operation Greenlight Program from the National Association of Counties (NACo) and the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers (NACVSO). The illumination of green lights seeks to let veterans know that they are seen, appreciated, and supported.
