This 525-acre park (with 45 water acres, and 2 beach acres), provides several recreational amenities including 2 reservable picnic shelters, a disc golf course, and 12.4 miles of trails. This park is in the southern section of Albemarle County and voted “Best of the Best” of by Cville Weekly.

The Gold Award project is the highest award a Girl Scout can obtain, and takes over 80 hours of work, as well as a team of people to put everything together. Free for community use. Located by the informational kiosk.
