This 239-acre park includes 53 water acres and 2 beach acres. Several recreational amenities are provided, including a 1-acre fenced in dog park with water access for dogs to swim, 2 reservable picnic shelters, a playground, and 3 miles of trails. This park is in the northern section of Albemarle County and minutes from Charlottesville Airport.

The development of this new course in the Northern part of the County, was a successful partnership between Parks and Recreation, by providing space and in-kind services, and the Blue Ridge Disc Golf Club, whose members devoted over 1100 volunteer hours to construct the course.  In April of 2023, the Blue Ridge Disc Golf Club hosted a soft opening to promote the new course at Chris Greene with over 60 participants playing the course for the first time. To date there have been over 650 confirmed rounds played at the new course.

Park is open daily 7:00am-Dark.
