This is a called meeting of the Electoral Board for the purpose of performing an inventory only of the provisional ballots that have been received from the special election. This will enable the Board to deliver these envelopes to the Registrar's office to begin processing first thing Wednesday morning before the Provisional Ballot Meeting commences. The Registrar has only until the close of business on Friday to process all of the same day registration envelopes, which in the last election comprised 86% of the ~1200 provisional ballots. The Provisional Ballot Meeting and the Canvass of Results will proceed as planned on Wednesday, April 22 at noon. This meeting will commence sometime in the neighborhood of 9:00pm, and will finish within one hour as it will already have been a long day. The beginning time will be shortly after the last delivery of materials back from the polling places. The meeting will not be available on Zoom.
