Albemarle County offices will be closed, Tuesday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day. Public safety departments will operate as usual. Offices will reopen Wednesday, November 12, 2025 on a regular schedule.

Veterans Day Ceremony: While local government offices will be closed, we invite community members to attend the Veterans Day Ceremony on Tuesday, November 11, at 11 am in Lane Auditorium at the Albemarle County Office Building, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, VA. Hosted by the American Legion, Post 74, the ceremony will celebrate Veterans Day, recognize those who served, and provide resources to support veterans.
