BOARDS & COMMISSIONS SURVEY
Boards and Commissions provide valuable input and guidance to the Board of Supervisors as it makes decisions on issues affecting the County and its citizens. Currently the County has approximately 64 boards and committees that provide guidance on topics from a wide range of areas including social services and solid waste to land use and joint security complex operations. It is important for the County to recruit and retain experienced and knowledgeable people to serve the County in these important advisory roles.
