Introduction/Overview/Duties To evaluate existing proposed ordinance against the goals and objectives of the Comprehensive Plan and the Mountain Protection Plan, current information regarding mountain area resources and relevant information regarding other mountain protection techniques, ordinances, etc. and modify the ordinances as necessary to provide an acceptable and effective ordinance to protect mountain resources.

End product/outcome: Consensus on an acceptable and effective ordinance for adoption.
The focus is on reviewing the proposed ordinance, not on reassessing the adopted policy.
Provide regular updates to the Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission on status and direction of the committee.
