Board/Commission Name Hazardous Materials - Local Emergency Planning Committee 
Introduction/Overview/Duties The LEPC is responsible for writing the hazardous materials emergency plan, monitoring hazardous materials storage facilities for reporting compliance, and releasing information to the general public on hazardous materials facilities and users. The goal of the committee is to educate the public about potential hazards in the community, (i.e., to discuss and plan for hazardous materials disasters). 
Length of Term Permanent committee required by the state with no term limits 
Frequency/Times for Meetings Meets monthly on the last Wednesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. in the 911 Center.
