Board/Commission Name Charlottesville Area Community Foundation Governing Board 
Introduction/Overview/Duties See Three-Party Agreement. 
Length of Term Three year term with an ending date of December 31st. 
Frequency/Times for Meetings Quarterly on the first Monday of September, December, March and June. 
Membership The number of trustees constituting the Board of Trustees shall be not less than eight nor more than 22. The Board shall be composed of the following categories of members with the indicated numbers:

1 member appointed by the President of the Charlottesville-Albemarle Chamber of Commerce.
1 member appointed by the Mayor of the City of Charlottesville
1 member appointed by the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of Albemarle County
1 member appointed by the Judge of the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit who most regularly sits in the Circuit Court of the City of Charlottesville
1 member appointed by the Judge of the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit who most regularly sits in the Circuit Court of the County of Albemarle
1 members by each of the financial institutions who serve as Trustees of the Charlottesville-Albemarle Foundation, which appointee is to be an employee of the of the appointing financial institution and will serve only as long as such appointee remains so employed
Two people nominated by the Retail Merchants Association of Charlottesville, Virginia, and Albemarle County, Inc., which two people will be subject to approval and election by the then current members of the Board of Trustees then in office

and up to the number available to equal the 22 maximum, to be appointed by the then current members of the Board of Trustees. 
Qualifications Community leaders who have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to the quality of life in the area.
