BACKGROUND: These amendments were recommended by staff to provide for more effective and efficient administration and enforcement of the Zoning Ordinance. The Planning Commission recommended approval of these amendments on June 9th.
Because several draft ordinance revisions have been made since the original draft, staff has compiled a list (Attachment A). Three (3) of the eight (8) revisions were made in response to Commissioner’s comments both prior to and at the public hearing (revisions #3, 5 and 6 in Attachment A). While these are not substantive revisions, the current language provides better clarity.

DISCUSSION:
The proposed ordinance would amend Zoning Ordinance Sections 3, 31, 34, 36 and 37.
BUDGET IMPACT:
None
After conducting a public hearing, staff recommends that the Board adopt the attached ordinance.
