12.        PROJECT: ZMA-2007-016. Watkins Route 250 Rezoning (Sign #95). PROPOSAL:  Rezone 3.0 acres from R1 - Residential (1 unit/acre) to HC Highway Commercial which allows commercial and service uses; and residential use by special use permit (15 units/ acre) for a Landscape Contracting business. PROFFERS:  No. LOCATION: 5168 Rockfish Gap Turnpike/Route 250 West, east of Radford Lane & adjacent to Clover Lawn. TAX MAP/PARCEL: 56/107C&98D. MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT: White Hall.

13.        PROJECT: SP-2007-060. Outdoor Storage of plant materials (concurrent with ZMA 07-16 Watkins Route 250 Rezoning) (Sign #95).  PROPOSAL: Request to allow outdoor storage of nursery stock and plant materials associated with a landscape contracting business in the Entrance Corridor. LOCATION: 5168 Rockfish Gap Turnpike/Route 250 West, east of Radford Lane & adjacent to Clover Lawn. TAX MAP/PARCEL: 56/107C&98D. MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT: White Hall.

14.        PROJECT: ZMA-2006-009. 5th Street-Avon Center (Signs #48&67&68). PROPOSAL: Rezone 86.895 acres from LI - Light Industrial zoning district which allows industrial, office, and limited commercial uses (no residential use) with proffers and RA - Rural Areas zoning district which allows agricultural, forestal, and fishery uses; residential density (0.5 unit/acre) to PD-SC - Planned Development Shopping Center zoning district which allows shopping centers, retail sales and service uses; and residential by special use permit (15 units/acre) Approx. 468,623 sq. ft. of commercial uses. PROFFERS: Yes. LOCATION: Northeast intersection of Interstate 64 and Fifth Street Extended (Rt 631), bounded on the east by Avon Street Extended. Access is Bent Creek Road. TAX MAP/PARCEL: 76/M1-2A, 76/M1-2B, 76/M1-4A, 77/11E. MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT: Scottsville.

15.        PROJECT: SP-2007-004. 5th Street - Avon Center (Signs #78&81&91). PROPOSED: Parking Structure. ZONING CATEGORY/GENERAL USAGE: LI - Light Industrial - industrial, office, and limited commercial uses (no residential use). LOCATION: Northeast intersection of Interstate 64 and Fifth Street Extended (Rt 631), bounded on the east by Avon Street Extended. Access is Bent Creek Road. TAX MAP/PARCEL: 76/M1-2A, 76/M1-2B, 76/M1-4A. MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT: Scottsville. 

16.        PROJECT: ZMA 2007-021 Cavalier Mini Storage (Sign #102). PROPOSAL: Rezone 2.169 acres from RA Rural Areas zoning district which allows agricultural, forestal, and fishery uses; residential density (0.5 unit/acre) to HC Highway Commercial zoning district which allows commercial and service uses; and residential use by special use permit (15 units/ acre). PROFFERS: Yes. LOCATION: North side of Route 250 East and approximately 1/10 mile east of I64. TAX MAP/PARCEL: 78/36. MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT: Scottsville.  (Applicant requests deferral to April 9, 2008.)
