AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND REORDAIN CHAPTER 2, ADMINISTRATION, ARTICLE II, BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, OF THE CODE OF THE COUNTY OF ALBEMARLE, VIRGINIA.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Albemarle, Virginia, that Chapter 2, Administration, Article II, Board of Supervisors, of the Code of the County of Albemarle, Virginia, is hereby amended and reordained by amending Section 2-202, Compensation of Board of Supervisors, as follows:
ARTICLE II. BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
Sec. 2-202 Compensation of board of supervisors.
The salary of the board of
supervisors shall be twelve thousand four hundred sixty-seven dollars and no
cents ($12,467.00) thirteen thousand sixteen dollars ($13,016.00) for
each board member effective July 1, 2004 2005. In addition to the
regular salary, the vice-chairman shall receive a stipend of thirty-five dollars
($35.00) for each and every meeting chaired and the chairman shall receive an
annual stipend of one thousand eight hundred dollars ($1,800.00).
