RE: 2004 Building Reports
Attached/enclosed please find the 2004 Quarterly and Year End Albemarle County Building Reports. Due to the conversion from one permit tracking system to another that took place at the beginning of the first quarter of 2004, the distribution of all Building Reports was delayed to ensure the data represented within the reports is as accurate as possible. Please note that the data represented in 2004 is comparatively lower than in previous years. While all efforts have been made to identify and correct any inconsistencies, it is possible that the lower 2004 permit numbers are in some degree attributable to the change to a new tracking system, especially those from the first quarter.
