This form will combine the sign permit and Architectural Review Board (ARB) sign application requirements into a single document. The purpose of the combined form is to increase efficiency in the sign review and approval process.

The new Sign Permit Application and Checklist can be viewed at the Sign Forms and Information Center at www.albemarle.org/signs.

The Sign Forms and Information Center also provides:

• supplementary info on the sign review process
• a map of the County’s Entrance Corridors
• a list of the ARB’s Comprehensive Sign Criteria
• sign diagrams for noting sign dimensions
• information on temporary sign permits
