SUBSCRIPTION TO REMOTE ACCESS

The Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Albemarle County will offer limited access to Land Records Management System through secure and restricted web access. Access will be available through paid subscription only. The following types of records will be available: Index to Deeds, Wills, Marriages, Financing Statements, Judgments and Trade Names/Assumed Names.

Availability of Records:

• Deed Index records from 1957
• Deed Images from 1980
• Will book indexes from 1994
• Will book images from 1994
• Index to Fiduciaries and Accounts from 1994
• Index to Judgments and judgment docketing information from 1990
• Index to UCC-Financing Statements from 1986
• Index to Marriages from 1998
• Index to Fictitious Firm Names from 1988

User Agreement:

A user agreement ("the agreement") must be executed and agreed to before any subscribers will be permitted to request subscription access to the system. Subscribers to the system and the individual users must abide by the terms and conditions as outlined in the agreement. 

Application for Remote Access to Land Records Management System

All persons interested in remote access subscriptions must complete and submit an application for remote access. Each individual user on a subscription account must complete an application and be approved before access will be provided.

Charges and Fees

The charge for secure remote access will be $1,200.00 annually with a maximum of four (4) users per account. Additional users to an account may be added at the sole discretion of the Clerk's office upon completion of an agreement and application for a fee of $50.00 per month for each additional user. A sole practitioner will be charged a fee of $600.00 per annum, with a maximum of one user per account. There is a one-time fee of $25.00 per account due the Clerk of Court at the time of submitting the application. This fee is an administrative cost to maintain subscriber account.
