Crozet Artisan Depot April Events

The Crozet Artisan Depot is proud to be featuring new artists this month! Many of their regular artists have new work as well, so please stop by and see their fresh look. In addition to all the new work, they will be hosting several events this month. All the events are FREE and open to everyone. They look forward to seeing you again, or for the first time!
Saturday, April 9th, 10am
Talk and hike with Shenandoah National Park Superintendent Jim Northrup
Superintendent Jim Northup will speak about his 36 years as a National Park Ranger, and all the wonderful things there are to see and do in Shenandoah National Park.  Following his talk, the Superintendent and attendees will caravan to a local trail-head for an easy to moderate hike lead by Mr. Northup. Participants are encouraged to carpool. Proper footwear is highly recommended, along with a day pack, hiking pole(s), water and a snack or lunch to enjoy. The hike should conclude by 2:00 p.m.

During the reception Eve Watters will be playing beautiful music for us with her harp and Native American Flute. Refreshments will be served.

Landscape Photography Workshop by Ben Greenberg
A landscape photography workshop will be led by local photographer Ben Greenberg. It will expose the participants to important principles of landscape photography in a presentation by Ben at the Depot. The presentation will be followed by a group shooting session at a nearby local site. After the group breaks for a short lunch, it will reconvene at the Depot for a critique of photographs taken and a brief introduction to computer image processing. Wear proper footwear, and bring your camera and a sack lunch.

Third Thursday Depot Jam Session
Third Thursday Jam Sessions are for all skill levels for voice and instrument. Come, play, have fun. This month's sessions we will be singing and playing songs by Paul Simon
