Albemarle County Fire and Rescue Announces Citizens Fire Rescue Academy

Have you ever wondered how heavy that firefighting gear really is? Try it on and see for yourself! Do you want to know why a fire engine shows up for a 911 medical call? Wonder why firefighters travel to the grocery store in the fire engine? Learn about a day in the life of Albemarle County Fire Rescue. The Citizens Fire Rescue Academy will answer questions you didn't know you had and offer experiences you won't soon forget.

Starts Thursday, September 4th and meets Tuesdays and Thursdays through October 2nd 6:30 - 9:00 P.M. (no class on 09.11.14)
