SPCA Offering Subsidized Spay/Neuter Surgeries for Low/Middle Income Area Residents

The Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA is currently offering subsidized spay/neuter surgeries to low/middle income residents in Charlottesville, Albemarle, and the surrounding counties.

For a limited time only, County and City residents can make an appointment with the CASPCA to receive spay/neuter surgery for their cats or pit bulls for free, and all other dogs for only $30.  Out of county residents are eligible for a $20 cat spay/neuter or a $50 dog spay/neuter.

The surgery is performed at the SPCA, and animals can be taken home that same evening.  Space is limited, so interested residents are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

More information can be found at, or on the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA’s website,
