This unit is responsible for Budget Preparation and Review; management of the Human Resource/Payroll function, Contractual Overtime Program, False Alarm Program, Court Scheduling, Online Crime Reporting, and Quartermaster functions. This unit is also responsible for Grant Management – this includes developing and managing additional resources for specific Police Department initiatives, and working on interagency, multiple service, and multijurisdictional grant projects, such as the Victim/Witness Services Program, recruitment and hiring, supporting newly hired Officers, crime analysis, preventing Internet Crimes Against Children, various traffic safety activities, operation Safe Holidays, improved security cameras in the high schools, bulletproof vests, underage drinking enforcement, and numerous other Community Policing activities.
