The mission of the Honor Guard is to represent the Albemarle County Police Department at public functions and events throughout the state.  Members of the Honor Guard demonstrate a high level of discipline and uniform appearance.  The unit routinely has been called upon to perform at all types of functions, from parades to the funerals of fallen Officers and their family.
