A comparative analysis of the number of new building permits and the new dwelling units yielded from these permits. Statistics are analyzed by school district, magisterial district, and comprehensive plan areas.
2006 Residential Development Index [size 956KB]
The Residential Development Index (RDI) is a comprehensive listing of all major active (current) and proposed residential developments in the County of Albemarle. The Current section charts the current progress of each development against the anticipated amount of (approved) dwelling units at the project's completion. The Proposed section is a subjective review of major developments currently in the Review Process with the County. Developments from both sections are included in a County map which depicts their general location.
Subdivision Index [size 103KB] (June 2009)
An extensive listing of all major subdivisions in the County. Includes basic demographics of each subdivision such as School Districts and Magisterial District. (Please note: the parcel assignments within a tax map are subject to change as parcels are merged or further subdivided.)
