LITTLE LIBRARY Stop by Mint Springs kiosk area to check out the new Little Library.  Girl Scout Ambassador, Rachel Schweitzer of Troop 874, has installed this "take a book, leave a book" station as part of her Gold Award project.  The Gold Award project is the highest award a Girl Scout can obtain, and takes over 80 hours of work, as well as a team of people to put everything together.  Through the support of the community, she has assembled and coordinated three stations to be available to park goers.  Walnut Creek Park Little Library is complete and Chris Greene Park Little Library coming soon - free for community use.

Make sure to head out on a hike, grab a book and enjoy the beautiful scenery!
