EASTERN CONNECTOR CORRIDOR STUDY

Eastern Connector

PROJECT BACKGROUND >>>

Welcome to the Eastern Connector Corridor Study's website.  It is designed to keep you up-to-date on upcoming events and news related to the Eastern Connector Corridor Study.  By visiting the site on a regular basis you can stay informed about and involved with the Eastern Connector Corridor Study

This study will help shape the future form of the transportation system between US Route 29 north of Charlottesville and US Route 250 east of the city.  As a community planning project, it will address the desires and concerns of residents, business owners, and other interested parties.  Together, the best possible multimodal transportation system that can  accommodate the future needs of the bicycle, pedestrian, public transit, and vehicular travel modes in this area of the City of Charlottesville and Albemarle County will be created.  Please plan to be an active participant in this process.
