PROTECT NATURAL HERITAGE AS A COUNTY

What We Can Do as a County to Protect Albemarle County's Natural Resources?

Work with your local government officials and staff to encourage the use of native plants in urban and suburban landscapes. Provide them with lists of attractive, non-invasive locally native alternatives that are naturally more hardy, pest-resistant, and supportive of native wildlife than cultivated plants.
