The Albemarle County Human Resources Department provides Human Resources support for the county's public school division and all local government departments. The department provides services in seven key human resources functional areas to meet the current and emerging needs of County and School employees: Recruitment/Staffing Support; Classification & Compensation; Benefits & Leave Administration; Training & Development; Employee Relations; Workplace Safety; and Teacher Licensure & Certification. The department strives to provide excellent customer service to all employees and works closely with administration and staff to ensure that their human resources needs are met in a manner that exceed expectations.
